If you live in Australia and are under 18 years of age there are laws that apply to having cosmetic and plastic surgery treatments. The law requires that you must have a 3 month cooling off period after your initial consultation before you can proceed with any treatment. This down time allows you to process all of the information you have been given before making any decisions. Having a parent or guardian come with you to your consultation is also strongly recommended. You can ask lots of questions in your consultation and then take your time thinking everything over for the next three months.
Remember that undertaking cosmetic surgery is a big step and this decision should never be rushed. Ask as many questions that come to your mind and make sure you always consult a parent/mentor.
